There are four pop-up rooms in the book; the kitchen, the living room, the bedroom and the bathroom. All the rooms represent the decor of the era perfectly and although the book is titled Doll's House, the rooms are 'life-like' making this an ideal reference book for the real 1950s house.
The mangle and top loader in the kitchen, the old TV in the living room and the eiderdown on the bed are all typical homewares of the era.
The book measures approximately19.5cm wide and 23cm high. It has a white plastic coated wire ring binding and all parts are intact. There is a tiny bit of creasing to the top corner of the front cover, some light age discoloration and the odd, minor surface mark inside. On the whole, the book is in very good condition.
This exceedingly rare book is not only delightful to look at, it is a wonderful historical reference piece and would be a valued addition for collectors of such books.
