1920s Lady and Parrot Boudoir Lamp (hw1154)

A really beautiful vintage lamp dating to the 1920s. This is a perfect example of a lady's boudoir lamp, made from porcelain, it is in the form of a 'crinoline' lady who is holding a parrot - a popular 'accessory' for the era! She is standing in front of a column and is Georgian in her style. The lamp has a wooden base which is painted black. It will take clip on shades and the type which are mounted within the bulb holder, so a variety of sizes and styles of shades can be used with it. (The shade in photos is not included.)

Every lady should have their own sumptuously decorated boudoir and this pretty lamp will add immense femininity and charm to any room in the home. The lamp base is approximately 24.5cm high. In excellent condition. It will require rewiring by a qualified person.
