This is a pretty, Summery bag made from a wonderful mix of vintage fabrics. The front of the bag is a delightful assymetric patchwork of a rare and beautiful 1930s Sanderson's cotton sweet williams print. This is teamed with a 1940s pink roses glazed cotton - for a truly beautiful blend of old fabrics!

The reverse of the bag is made from a panel of very pretty 1950s floral barkcloth. Inside, the bag is lined with a luxurious vintage velvet which is the prettiest shade of blue and compliments the light Summery fabrics perfectly. There is a handy inner pocket made from the pretty pink roses fabric and the strap and closure loop have been made from the floral barkcloth. The bag is both padded and interlined to give a soft cushion feel to the main body and the finishing touch is a sweet little flower-shaped crisp white vintage button - perfect!

The bag measures approximately 33cm high and is 28cm wide. The overall continuous length of the strap is 93cm. The bag has been interlined with a soft wadding to ensure the bag keeps its shape.

There is a very small blemish/flaw to the lower left sweet williams fabric. This is very minor and not unusual with vintage fabrics.
