Superb Large Double Paisley Eiderdown (astb395)

This is a truly magnificent vintage eiderdown. It dates to the 1940s and is in excellent condition. This large double is covered in a beautiful paisley and pink cotton cambric, with the most exquisite colours and detail in the paisleys and tiny roses; wonderful! The stitching emphasises the ample filling of feathers and the eiderdown is trimmed all the way around with a pink satin frill.

A classic, vintage quilt for your boudoir.

The eiderdown is approximately 57" by 68". It is in excellent condition and has no wear, repairs or marks, and there has been no feather loss. It isn't as heavy as its size might suggest which means it may well be filled with a mix of feather and down. One side may be very, very slightly lighter in shade but this is being picky!
