Glorious Hyacinths in Basket Oil Painting (pg771)

This is a large and very pretty oil painting on canvas, depicting pink, yellow and blue hyacinths in a woven basket, sitting on a table with a gently gathered curtain in the background. The painted is initialled G.E.T. and dated '55 (for 1955.) It is set into its original gilt brushed wooden frame which allows the delicate beauty of the flowers to take centre stage.

What a superbly pretty painting to hang above a fireplace or bed! The frame is approximately 31" by 23". In excellent condition with some minor/light little surface scratches to the painting as seen.
