Cute Embroidered Nursery Stocking (tx670)

A really cute 'stocking' dating to the 1950s. It is made from a cream coloured woollen felt and has the sweetest little embroidered animals appliqued to it, along with sequins too. The edges of the stocking is finished with pink ric-rac. The adorable decoration is applied to one side of the stocking only. There is now only one stocking available and is the left hand stocking with the little dogs - see first large photo.)

Perhaps intended as a christening gift, it would look wonderful hung in a nursery!

The stocking is approximately 14" from the top angled down across the foot (excluding the hanging loop.) In lovely condition, no wear or marks.
