Stunning Vintage Rose Garland Eiderdown (astb393)

This is a truly stunning vintage 1950s eiderdown, so incredibly pretty and in superb condition. It is covered with a cotton cambric (which even has its original glaze) and is one of the most beautiful designs to be found on a vintage eiderdown. The gentle pink background plays host to gorgeous pink roses presented in large sprays and elegant garlands, accompanied by touches of sweet blue flowers. The same wonderful design covers both sides and the eiderdown is edged with a neat Oxford-style trim in the same fabric. It even has its original Spinney label.

This beauty is everything you would wish for in a vintage quilt - modern-day designs attempt to copy these old designs but the original and authentic will always be the best!

The quilt is approximately 41" by 61". It is in excellent condition, we noted a couple of very, very minor marks. It is evenly filled with feathers and has no feather loss.
