Vintage Home Cotswold Rose China Mug (hwcrcm1)

Some years ago we were lucky to obtain a single roll of very rare hand printed wallpaper, made over 75 years ago. We used this to cover a similarly rare vintage wooden four-drawer chest with milk-glass handles. When we decided to commission our first china mug for Vintage Home - there was little debate about the design!

These beautiful fine bone china mugs are made in Staffordshire, England and then hand printed to our own exclusive design in Cornwall, in the same exacting way that the paper would originally have been made - using no less than nine different hand applied screens. The wonderfully tactile finish and the rich colours will brighten any tea or coffee break and these little gems look fabulous hung together on a dresser!
