Colourful Log Cabin Star Patchwork Quilt (astb459)

A really beautiful vintage patchwork quilt dating to the 1960s and made using 1950s and 1960s fabrics. There is a plethora of gorgeous cotton patches in this quilt, all hand sewn in a wonderful star design. The rich kelly green patches are the main feature which really sets off the many patterned designs which include ginghams, florals, paisleys and plain colours. The design really is super! The reverse of the quilt is covered in a light creamy coloured cotton. This is a double size quilt and may also fit a kingsize bed.

A gorgeous, colourful jewel of a patchwork quilt, perfect for adding authentic homespun vintage charm to your cottage decor. The quilt is approximately 84" by 95". No fading, wear or markings to the decorative side. The plain backing has some small minor marks and pinkish dye marks in a few places, mainly in the corners, where perhaps the quilt was once washed and left to dry.
