Colourful Vintage Patchwork Quilt (astb527)

A very large and beautiful vintage handsewn patchwork quilt. This lovely patchwork is made from a variety of floral and patterned patches which border a main central panel of plain black and patterned patches. The fabrics date from the 1960s and 1970s and include cottons and some man-made fabrics. It is unbacked and the edges are not finished (a few of the patches have the basting stitches and paper templates in place.) If you are handy with a sewing machine it would not be difficult to edge and back the quilt. Alternatively, it can be displayed and used as it is.

The patchwork is approximately 90" by 100". In excellent unused condition with the occasional minor mark on a patch.
