1940s Shop Counter Display Mannequin (hw1150)

A rare and original, 1940s shop mannequin, designed to display miniature versions of clothing and accessories. The elegant female mannequin is made from plaster with a fine painted gesso finish and sports a 1940s blonde hairstyle and apart from her black shoes, she is completely naked! The mannequin came from a haberdashery shop in England and formed part of their display for many years. The mannequin is attached to a base and is a smidgeon over 21" high, so she makes a very impressive display. Her fine features have been delicately hand painted and, being anatomically correct, her figure is just superb!

You may of course wish to cover her dignity with some miniature versions of 1940s clothes but either way, she will make a truly wonderful addition to your home or workroom. The mannequin is approximately 21" high including the base. She has age-related wear to the painted finish as seen, with some crackling of the finish and a few small flakes missing (a couple from her bottom!) She has no arms and she has apparently been without these since the wartime! Standard delivery applies.
