Pair 1940s pink rose wall lights (hw1160)

A pair of very rare and extremely pretty wall lights which date to the 1940s. The lights are made from a gold coloured metal, perhaps brass, and are exceptionally decorative with a proud peacock, columnated shaft and angled head which holds a beautiful semi-opaque, pink glass rose. The delicate pink rose shades will cast a beautiful light and these wall lights will greatly enhance any pretty vintage interior.

Each light is approximately 12" high and extend 6" outwards. The lights have a standard bayonet fixing. There is a registered number on the reverse of one light. The wall lights should be installed by a qualified person. Some age related markings to the metal. One of the glass shades has a flaw in the form of a slit with some markings around it. The appearance is minimised if the shade is turned with this flaw uppermost. Minor nibbles to rim of shades which are concealed in the light hoods.
