1920s Hat Stand with Dandy Gentleman (hw1332)

A wonderful and very rare antique hat stand. The hat stand is made from wood with a pretty yellow and gold painted finish. It has the addition of a cut out figure of an 18th century 'dandy', attractively hand painted in red, blue, gold and black.

A very fine accessory to a vintage millinery collection. The hat stand is approximately 27.5cm high and 11.5cm across the base. The figure is 15cm high. In very good condition for its age with wear to the painted finish and the tip of the gentleman's right foot missing.
