Pretty Vintage Roses Wallpaper Box (hw1352)

A very pretty original wallpapered box. This sturdy box is covered with a hand printed, 1940s trailing pink and yellow roses wallpaper. This is an original vintage box and wallpaper which was covered in the 1940s. Inside, the box also has its original plain paper covering.

This box was probably originally used in an upmarket department store and would have held an item of clothing or quality linens. The box is approximately 20" by 13" and 5.25" high. It has over all age-related wear and markings as seen. It is of very sturdy construction which actually feels like a wooden box so it will hold a good weight of items.
