Stunning Italian Hand Painted Chandelier (hw1364)

This is a truly amazing find! It is a 1940s Italian, 6-arm wooden chandelier, beautifully hand painted and decoratively carved. This large ceiling light has many wonderful features including the pretty yellow and pink-red roses, the dainty foliage and the delightfully decadent, hand painted gold finish which complements the gentle cream. All parts have an attractively shaped, hand carved design, indicative of the Italian style of this period. The light also comes with 6 vintage candle drip covers for the bulb holders which take small bayonet bulbs. (Please note: the last photo shows a matching light installed - although handmade, they are hard to tell apart and the image is used to show how the light will look in situ.)

This gorgeous antique chandelier will add stylish Italian beauty to your bedroom, drawing room or hallway. The light is approximately 27.5" high and 26" at the widest. Each arm extends approximately 10.5". When hanging, please allow additional inches for drop. In excellent condition for its age. It will need re-wiring and fitting by a qualified person. There is an incidental neat break in four of the arms, beneath the bulb holders - these are best left until the light is re-wired when they can be discreetly re-set. This is not unusual in these lights and do not detract in anyway whatsoever as they will be virtually impossible to spot once rewired and set. The light comes with a pre-used gold coloured decorative metal ceiling rose with hook. This item may be delivered by courier or we can send via a parcel company - please enquire for price.
