Edwardian Ladies Silk Calendar Print (pg719)

A beautiful, original silk print calendar which dates to 1910. This lovely print is set into a frame of the same era with a custom mount. The image depicts four young ladies, each representing a season. The colours are delightfully pretty and the style is reminiscent of Harrison Fisher, the American artist. The silk calendar print is entitled "Four Seasons" and was produced by The Gentlewoman Magazine, a popular publication for ladies during the Victorian years. The reverse of the frame has a handwritten and typed label with the details.

A superbly pretty antique print which will add charm and prettiness to your home. The frame is approximately 18.5" by 13.5". There is age-related wear to the gold painted edge of the frame. The calendar appears to have a misprint where the word Autumn should appear, otherwise in very good condition for something over 100 years old!
