1940s Cottage Flowers In Vase Painting (pg742)

A very pretty original oil painting which dates to the 1940s. The painting on canvas depicts a cottage garden bouquet of stocks, asters and anemones in a delightful floral china vase. The colours are very pretty in shades of yellow, pink, lilac and white. The painting is signed to the lower righthand side and appears to be C Ram, although it is indistinct. The painting is set into a wooden frame of the same era and with its cream colouring, mustard yellow inset border and black pinline edging, it complements the painting extremely well.

A large, beautifully painted floral picture for your cottage style home. The frame is approximately 20" by 24" and the canvas is approximately 16" by 20". The painting is in good condition but has two tears to the canvas, one approx. 1" long on the righthand side and the other is L-shaped and on the lefthand side. These can be seen in the photos although when painting is hung, they are not immediately obvious and could be restored if necessary.
