Victorian Long Haired Tabby Cat Painting (pg755)

A wonderful original Victorian watercolour and gouache painting of a long haired tabby cat. The painting is set within its original deep gold coloured mount and subtle antique gold coloured frame. The painting is signed by the artist A Williams. The frame holds the original handmade glass and the reverse of the painting bears its original paper and board backing, which has bee re-sealed in places with framer's tape. (Please note there are some areas of reflection on the glass which appear over the mount and image.)

A large and impressive framed painting which will delight all cat lovers. The frame is approximately 47cm wide by 63cm high. In wonderful condition. Some markings to the frame/mount and light spots of dust on the inside of the glass (gaps between the boards at the back have been taped to prevent future dust incursion.)
