1920s Print Lady Taking Tea by W E Webster (pg766)

This is an antique 1920s print from an original painting by W E Webster, the well known figural and portrait painter who also illustrated the covers of the Ladies Home Journal Magazine from 1910 onwards. This print depicts a young Victorian lady in a bonnet and pretty floral dress, seated in front of a console table and taking tea in a feminine decorated salon. This was printed in Belgium onto antique paper in the late 1920s and has a printed and cream coloured border which mimics a mount card. The print is therefore ready for framing.

A delightful image for a feminine inspired interior. The print is approximately 33cm by 44cm. In excellent unused condition, a couple of bumped corners and one tiny tear at the bottom which will be hidden when framed - the print has been stored away from light over the decades and has no fading etc.
