1930s Floral and Brick Design Linen (tx1049)

This is a really special vintage fabric. It dates to the 1930s and is a long length of unused linen fabric in original narrow width. The design is quite superb and depicts various garden flowers, including clematis, roses, wallflowers, anemones, hydrangeas and wisteria against a 'brickwork' background in warm stone and pale brown colours. The colours are wonderful and there is a beautiful 'painterly' appearance to the design.

It's vintage fabrics of this beauty and calibre which clearly show the appeal of authentic antique textiles. The fabric is approximately 32" wide by 79" long. In excellent unused condition, no wear or fading, minor storage marking. This is a medium weight linen which would be fine for small upholstery projects - alternatively we think it would make a stunning door curtain.
