Pretty 1930s Rose Basket Rug (2) (tx1108)

A most beautiful vintage woven wool rug dating to the 1930s. The rug was made by BMK (Blackwood Morton & Sons) of Kilmarnock, Scotland and has a superbly pretty design of Victorian style roses baskets at either end, with dainty floral garlands and a central design of hollyhock type flowers. The background colours of green, chocolate and mocha blend perfectly with the pinks, yellows and blues of the roses and flowers. There is another identical rug available - see Textiles section.

Add cottage charm to a bedroom, hall, living room or bathroom with this decidedly pretty vintage rug. The rug is approximately 27" by 48". In very good pre-used condition. No fading or obvious markings. Some minor wear to edges. (This rug has slightly less wear than the other rug.)
