Thatched Cottage and Garden Rug (tx952)

This is one of the most appealing vintage rugs ever to grace our shop! This is a large, handmade rug, made from multi-coloured wools and hand knotted onto a canvas backing. This truly super rug depicts a charming and idyllic scene of a thatched cottage set amidst an abundant cottage garden, with trees, birds and a pretty blue sky. Totally adorable and so very colourful too! The rug is an early design from one of the rug kit makers, perhaps Readicut.

Display this stunning rug in your home for the ultimate in vintage cottage decor! The rug is approximately 57" by 30". In excellent, gently pre-used vintage condition; no fading and quite clean.
